Note: This client finally got her butt into gear just 4 months ago! This is where most of her results occured with her bodystats. She's always seen the changes in her performance (strength and endurance). This was the first time she's been able to see her abs since middle or high school.
Now with all these nominee's they all had to overcome something different in order to achieve these awesome results. To put some of their numbers into perspective remember this:
- At best most people who eat well (Precision Nutrition Style) will drop about .25-.5% of bodyfat a MONTH. Nominee #2 is losing .6% per WEEK!! Also with her bodyfat is 14%!!! The average woman in her 20's has a bodyfat of 22-26% (this includes athletes)
- Most people who seek to lose weight lose most of it by losing lean mass (muscle & water). If a person does lose lean mass its best to lose 1lb of lean mass for every 3lbs of fat mass. Most of these nominee's were able to retain all of their lean mass if not gain some throught this process. This increase in lean mass will have their metabolism still rolling in the future so they don't gain all the fat they lost back.
- Most weight loss clinic's/programs (Weight Watchers, LA Weight loss, Jenny Craig, etc) encourage weight loss, not fat loss. More importantly the focus should be on the person's inches lost and bodyfat percentage. These two variables show more of the change in a persons shape and muscle tone than the weight ever will! Just think when you see someone who's toned and fit...do you really care how much they weight? Don't you really want to look like they do more than weigh what they weigh! All these nominee's look great no matter what the scales say!
